Job summary

Aegis Project Controls in Harlem, GA is seeking a Senior Project Controls Engineer to provide scheduling support to our clients. You will collaborate with project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor CPM schedules and project control systems throughout a project's life cycle.

The role requires five or more years in project controls, proficiency in Primavera P6, and the ability to interpret construction documents.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, PM, or related field.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• Ability to interpret construction documents.
• Experience developing construction schedules for projects over $100M.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• AACEI PSP or PMI-SP preferred.
• Travel to site locations within the region may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM schedules.
• Review project documents to develop baseline schedules with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Perform progress schedule updates to include reporting and narratives.
• Review project schedules and provide recommendations based on execution goals.
• Conduct critical path analyses and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages for the project site team.
• Review contractor’s progress and present to management.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to support the program.
• Cost and resource management and reporting.
• Identify and evaluate risk and impacts within project schedules.
• Communicate project status and challenges effectively.
• Meet with project teams, clients, owners, and stakeholders.
