Job summary

The Aegis Companies seek a Project Controls Engineer to deliver CPM scheduling and project control services for construction programs. You will collaborate with client project managers, construction professionals, and stakeholders to develop, manage, and monitor schedules through the project life cycle.

Applicants should have 5+ years in project controls, a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and strong communication skills. Travel to site locations in the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in project controls and CPM scheduling within vertical construction.
• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction, project management, or related field (waived with 5+ years vertical construction experience).
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and ability to interpret construction documents.
• Familiarity with construction means, methods, and sequences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor CPM schedules for construction projects.
• Review documents to create baseline schedules with dates, activities, and milestones.
• Produce progress schedule updates with reporting narratives.
• Analyze schedules to advise on execution goals and corrective actions.
• Conduct critical path analyses and risk review within project schedules.
• Perform site walks for progress validation and monthly reporting.
• Review contractor progress and present to management for decisions.
• Develop metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks for program reporting.
• Manage costs and resources, and provide related reporting.
