Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Project Cost Engineer to partner with Project Managers, Finance, Maintenance, and contractors to improve cost performance and predictability. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting across all project phases, applying GPM standards and ensuring accurate cost control and governance.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of cost engineering experience on capital projects in process industries, with PMI/AACE certification preferred and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field is required.
• AACE International or PMI certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Cost Engineer on capital projects in refining, petrochemical, chemical, or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze project budgets, forecasts, and funding reports across all project phases.
• Apply project controls standards and best practices to support delivery.
• Serve as site SME on cost factors, contractor rates, taxation, and industry cost trends.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to validate scope, review estimates, and ensure cost planning.
