Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to support our North Carolina teams in the Earth & Environment sector. You will provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting to Project Managers across the project lifecycle.

You will liaison with Project Managers, Project Financial Analysts, and upper management to ensure timely communication, strong financial visibility, and alignment on priorities, while managing budgets, forecasts, and documentation for closeout.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in project controls, project finance, accounting, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, or project management support.
• Working knowledge of project controls principles including cost control, budget tracking, forecasting, scheduling, change management, risk management, and reporting.
• Experience coordinating with Project Managers, finance, accounting, or project financial operations teams to support setup, reviews, invoicing, forecasting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate project-related activities with PFA and PFO teams, including Oracle Horizon updates and budget controls.
• Prepare budget status updates, variance explanations, forecast summaries, and escalation items for leadership.
• Coordinate project closeout by archiving documentation and compiling lessons learned.
