Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Project Management Specialist (Project Analysis, Senior Analyst) to support large U.S. Navy/DoD programs at NAWCAD Webster Outlying Field, St. Inigoes, Maryland.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules, monitor resources, and analyze performance to keep projects on schedule and within budget. This on-site role requires five years in project planning/controls with strong Microsoft Office and scheduling tools, and collaboration with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in project planning, project controls, scheduling, project analysis, or program support.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience leading project tasks, work efforts, or project teams.
• All required experience must be associated with large and complex U.S. Navy or other DoD programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project schedules and tracking project milestones.
• Experience monitoring project resources, budgets, staffing requirements, and procurement activities.
• Experience preparing project status reports and presenting project performance information to stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules and IMS.
• Monitor progress against milestones, deliverables, and critical path activities.
• Analyze schedule performance and identify risks, delays, and impacts.
• Track resources, staffing, procurement, and budget expenditures.
• Coordinate with managers, leads, and technical teams for timely completion.
• Collect, validate, and analyze project data for planning and reporting.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, timelines, and executive briefings.
• Support project reviews and stakeholder engagements.
• Assist with risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate project documentation per requirements.
• Provide recommendations to improve project controls and reporting.
