Job summary

Akima Systems Engineering (ASE), an Akima company, seeks a Project Control Analyst IV for a hybrid work model with travel to Summerville and Charleston, SC, a couple of times per week. You will support project controls across multiple mid-size projects and handle CPFF, FFP, LH, and LOE contracts while aiming for timely, accurate financial insights.

The role requires 8–10 years of related experience, a BS in Accounting/Business, strong MS Excel skills, and the ability to obtain a secret

Qualifications

• 8-10 years experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• MS Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, pivots).
• Experience with Federal Government contract types (Cost Plus, T&M, FFP).
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Ability to work independently, proactive and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and operation leads in financial and performance duties.
• Set up projects in Deltek Costpoint via PSF including budgets and labor/costing.
• Develop cost/schedule baselines and monitor actuals and forecasts.
• Manage A/R/A/P processes, subcontract payments, and invoicing workflows.
• Monitor timecards, expense reports, and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare monthly accruals and communicate project status to management.
• Support contract closeouts and pricing analyses.
• Coordinate with project team on risk identification and reviews.
