TD Thornton is seeking an experienced Senior Project Controls Analyst to support cost, schedule, and project performance management across major construction initiatives in the electric utilities sector. The role combines Primavera P6 scheduling with financial forecasting and governance, partnering with project managers and stakeholders to deliver insights.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant project controls, scheduling, or cost controls.
• 3+ years with Primavera P6 including dependencies, baselines, cost loading.
• Experience with project financial analysis, including forecasting, accruals, budgets, and cost variance analysis.
• Ability to analyze project cost and schedule data and identify risks, trends, and potential performance issues.
• Strong communication skills to translate project controls data into updates for leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop and maintain work breakdown structures, dependencies, resource allocations, cost loading, and schedule baselines.
• Prepare project financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and cost analysis.
• Support project managers with budgets, forecasts, and contingency management.
• Track and analyze cost and schedule performance, including variances and emerging trends.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that provide clear insight into project performance.
