Job summary

Jobtailor in New York is seeking a Senior Scheduler to lead project scheduling across complex EPC mega infrastructure programs. You will develop and maintain L3 baseline schedules using Primavera P6, drive on-time delivery, and coordinate with PMO, Engineering, and logistics to align updates.

The role requires 8+ years in project control planning, deep EPC experience, and proven ability to manage schedule risk, progress reporting, and changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling.
• Min 5 years of planning & scheduling in Primavera P6.
• Expertise in EPC environments and large EPC projects.
• Experience with EoT claims and forensic planning.
• Ability to support multiple internal customers in a matrixed environment.

• Lead project schedule, drive on‑time delivery, and support successful execution across complex EPC & Mega Infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain L3 baseline schedules using Primavera P6
• Lead schedule reviews, progress reporting, critical path analysis, and monthly deep ‑ dives
• Provide schedule risk assessments and support mitigation planning with cross ‑ functional teams
• Manage schedule impacts related to claims, change orders, and customer variations
• Collaborate with PMO & CoE partners, Engineering, C&I site teams, and project leadership to ensure alignment and timely updates
• Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, processes, and KPIs
• Prepare schedule documentation for reviews, reporting, and project close ‑ out

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• Min. 8 years of experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function
• Min. 5 years of planning & scheduling in Primavera
• Expertise of EPC environments and work processes of large EPC Projects
• Expertise in Primavera P6 & Risk Analysis Tools
• Experience with Extension of time Claims and Forensic Planning
• Ability to support multiple internal customers and partners with competing priorities in a matrixed environment
• Experience collaborating with multiple functions such as engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, projects and logistics
