Job summary

Rogers Electric is seeking a Project Accountant in Alpharetta, GA to manage GMP-based project accounting, owner pay applications, and subcontractor billings. You will monitor costs, assist with forecasting, and ensure contract compliance across large-scale construction programs.

Key responsibilities include preparing monthly owner pay apps, reconciling SOVs and change orders, and coordinating with Accounts Payable to process subcontractor payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of project accounting experience in GMP environments.
• Experience with owner pay applications and subcontractor billings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly owner pay applications in accordance with GMP contract requirements.
• Compile and reconcile SOV, change orders, lien waivers, and certified payroll as applicable.
• Ensure compliance with contractual billing terms and conditions.
• Monitor billing status and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Monitor project costs against GMP budget and schedule of values.
• Reconcile committed costs to budget.
• Assist in cost forecasting and monthly job cost reporting.
• Support project manager with cost-to-complete analysis.
• Review subcontractor pay applications for accuracy and contract compliance.
• Process subcontractor payments in coordination with Accounts Payable.
• Track contingencies, allowances, and general conditions per GMP terms.
• Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation.
• Provide financial data and reporting to leadership as requested.
