Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions partners with a private construction firm to recruit a hands-on Controller who will lead core accounting activities, oversee a small team, and serve as a key financial partner to operational leadership.

This role emphasizes project accounting, WIP reporting, profitability analysis, forecasting, and process improvements within a collaborative, operations-driven environment. Fridays WFH offered as part of a flexible, performance‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience, ideally within project based accounting.
• 2+ years supervision experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with construction project accounting or CPA/CMA and/or public accounting experience auditing construction firms (DOE).
