Job summary

Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to support a multi-billion-dollar utility infrastructure capital program in the United States. You will partner with project management, engineering, construction, and contractor teams to develop and maintain schedules driving project execution, with a focus on Primavera P6 schedules and EPC environments.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in project scheduling, proven experience with Primavera P6, and the ability to analyze

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of project scheduling / project controls experience.
  • Utility capital project experience required.
  • Strong hands-on Primavera P6 experience.
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Experience analyzing critical path, float, schedule variance, and progress.
  • Experience reviewing and challenging contractor schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 project schedules.
  • Build and manage integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules.
  • Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and WBS structures.
  • Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis.
  • Track planned, actual, and earned project progress.
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates.
  • Monitor contractor progress against contractual milestones.

Senior Project Scheduler | Utility Infrastructure | Multi-Billion-Dollar Capital Project

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to support the execution of a multi-billion-dollar capital project within the utility industry.

This is an opportunity to work on a major infrastructure program, partnering directly with project management, engineering, construction, and contractor teams to develop and maintain the schedules driving successful project execution.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 project schedules
  • Build and manage integrated engineering, procurement, and construction schedules
  • Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and WBS structures
  • Perform critical path and schedule variance analysis
  • Track planned, actual, and earned project progress
  • Analyze schedule performance and identify potential delays
  • Review and validate contractor schedules and schedule updates
  • Monitor contractor progress against contractual milestones
  • Develop schedule forecasts and provide completion-date projections
  • Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation/recovery strategies
  • Support schedule change management and impact analysis
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and executive-level updates
  • Work closely with Project Managers and field teams to ensure schedule accuracy
What We’re Looking For
  • 4+ years of project scheduling / project controls experience
  • Utility capital project experience required
  • Strong hands-on experience with Primavera P6
  • Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
  • Experience analyzing critical path, float, schedule variance, and progress
  • Experience reviewing and challenging contractor schedules
  • Experience working within EPC project environments
  • Ability to communicate schedule risks and impacts to project leadership
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Acumen Fuse, Microsoft Project, and schedule risk analysis
  • PMI and/or AACE International certifications
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-year utility programs
