Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Civil Engineer to join our Winchester, VA office on a full-time basis. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of municipal and development projects within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a Virginia PE (or ability to obtain within 6 months), and at least 6 years of related experience in land development. Target compensation ranges from $97,000 to $115,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• PE license in the Commonwealth of Virginia, or ability to obtain Virginia licensure within six months of hire.
• Minimum of six (6) years of progressive professional experience in civil engineering, preferably within land development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee development of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Provide civil engineering design services including site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Support a wide range of project types including linear utilities, local improvements, industrial, commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
• Design and coordinate paving, drainage, grading, water and wastewater site improvements.
• Collaborate within a team-based environment, mentoring junior staff.
• Coordinate communications among internal teams and external stakeholders.
