Job summary

Hargrove and Associates, Inc is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive bidding, RFQ submissions, and supplier negotiations across heavy industrial projects. You will develop procurement plans, evaluate proposals, and award POs while mentoring junior staff.

Job description

What You’ll Be Doing

Job Scope: Generally responsible for developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), evaluating commercial proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, and awarding purchase orders. Responsibilities could also include expediting of vendor data and equipment in support of various projects. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Familiarity with and utilization of department Familiarity with the execution of heavy industrial projects including chemical, refining, pulp and paper, power, and manufacturing. Interpreting project scopes, statements of work and project Developing procurement plans for the acquisition of goods and services in support of various Mentoring less experienced Procurement Developing strategic sourcing agreements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in related field from an accredited university is highly preferred.

Experience

This position requires 10 or more years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Procurement.

Certification

• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) is highly preferred.
