Job summary

Hargrove Engineers + Constructors is seeking a seasoned Procurement professional to develop bid packages, submit RFQs, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders for complex industrial projects. The role includes expediting vendor data and equipment, mentoring junior staff, and shaping strategic sourcing agreements.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project procurement within heavy industry, possess CPSM certification (preferred), and hold a related degree.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in related field from an accredited university is highly preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of relevant industrial experience in Supply Chain Management, specifically in Project Procurement.
• Certification: CPSM is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing bid packages and submitting RFQ.
• Evaluating commercial proposals and negotiating terms and conditions.
• Awarding purchase orders and expediting vendor data and equipment as needed.
• Developing procurement plans for various projects.
• Mentoring less experienced Procurement staff.

What You'll Be DoingJob Scope: Generally responsible for developing bid packages, submitting Request for Quote (RFQ), evaluating commercial proposals, negotiating terms and conditions, and awarding purchase orders.
