Job summary

Progress Studio in Indianapolis is seeking a Project Architect / Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead commercial projects end to end. You will own the schedule, the drawing set, and client relationships from programming to stamped permit set.

This senior leadership role requires coordinating disciplines, reviewing construction documents for code compliance, and mentoring designers. You’ll be the primary face of the studio with authority to influence project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial architecture with full CD sets under your name
• Licensed architect in Indiana or actively pursuing licensure (Project Architect track)
• Completed professional degree in architecture; active registration or a clear path to it
• Fluency in ProCore, Revit, Bluebeam, cloud document workflows
• Working knowledge of Indiana Building Code and IDHS plan review, or similar jurisdictions
• Direct experience running consultant coordination and construction administration across multiple teams
• ComCheck reports and reviewing drawing sets amongst other consultants
• Fluent in Adobe, Microsoft, Canva, and other productivity software

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from programming through construction administration
• Produce and manage Revit models and full construction document sets
• Coordinate MEP, structural, and civil consultants; own QA/QC review before each issue
• Prepare and answer plan review comments for local and multi-state jurisdictions
• Run client and contractor meetings; document agendas, decisions, and follow-up
• Review submittals and shop drawings; conduct site observations and punch list reviews
• Mentor designers and drafters; help set the drawing standards for the studio
