Job summary

Shepley Bulfinch is seeking a Senior Project Architect in Houston to lead project teams and oversee the production and delivery of architectural drawings. The candidate will interface with clients, lead meetings during construction administration, and manage staffing, budgets, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience across architectural phases, with Revit proficiency and licensure or active pursuit of licensure.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience on all phases of architectural projects.
• Experience with higher education and/or urban development is preferred.
• Active licensure or pursuing licensure as a registered architect is required.
• Significant experience managing and using Revit for architectural documentation, including reviewing submittals and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in the internal production and delivery of architectural drawings.
• Interface with clients and lead meetings during the construction administration phase.
• Manage a team of 3–10 people, establish project work plans (staffing, budget, schedule) and ensure contractual, financial and cost control responsibilities.
• Travel regionally and nationally up to 20%.
