Job summary

Core Group Resources is seeking a licensed Architect to support multiple projects, guiding design, project management, and team supervision on diverse initiatives. This individual will collaborate across disciplines, ensure code compliance, and contribute to innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and complex construction documents, along with strong leadership and communication skills. This role is based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and city submittal process.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience producing architectural drawings and managing projects.
• Licensed architect with ability to supervise project teams.

Responsibilities

• Hold and maintain a valid state architect’s license.
• Lead production of construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Oversee small to medium projects from conception through completion.
• Coordinate with civil, environmental, and wildlife consultants.
• Ensure IBC and local code compliance, including ADA.
• Prepare cost estimates and BOQs.
• Lead design coordination meetings and field observations.
• Monitor budgets and schedules.
• Review city submittal processes.
• Provide safety and HSE compliance.
