Job summary

Perkins&Will in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Project Architect to lead all phases of the design process, manage multidisciplinary teams, and coordinate with clients and authorities having jurisdiction.

The role requires an architectural license, a Bachelor’s degree in architecture, and 10–15 years of experience. LEED GA within 6 months and living design accreditation are preferred. This is a hybrid, full-time position with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 10–15 years of architecture experience.
• LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
• Professional Accreditation in Living Design (LEED AP / WELL / SITES / ILFI) preferred.
• Strong leadership and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of the design process with proficiency and adherence to standards.
• Understand technical implications, design decisions, and project financial goals.
• Lead and participate in project documentation and deliverables production.
• Oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure conformance with standards and design intent.
• Coordinate effectively among internal disciplines and external consultants.
• Communicate with clients on technical matters and coordinate with authorities.
