Job summary

AECOM is seeking a talented Senior Project Architect for immediate employment in our Seattle, WA office. The Project Architect will work with studio leadership and project teams to guide design and manage projects through all phases of design and construction.

The successful candidate will lead architectural teams, coordinate with engineers and clients, and ensure quality, cost control, and schedule adherence on public transit projects.

Qualifications

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in architecture.
• Licensed Architect.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural leadership on complex projects.
• Lead development of contract documents through all phases (SD, DD, CD).
• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications.
• Coordinate and lead quality control reviews of contract documents prior to issuance to client.
• Coordinate design reviews with clients, project managers, and municipal agencies.
• Stay current with design software developments (BIM, Revit, Autodesk 360, Bluebeam, SketchUp, Rhino).
• Apply design thinking to client problems to maximize value of services.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to improve design focus and technical excellence.
