Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services in Colorado seeks a Registered Architect to lead design projects from pre-design through project life cycle. You will head hybrid project teams and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and public entities to ensure timelines and design intent.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD, and ability to travel as needed to oversee multiple projects and deliverables under Principal Architects.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect in Colorado.
• Proficient in architectural design, detailing and construction materials.
• Knowledge of building codes and Colorado construction techniques and costs.
• Familiar with permit review processes and jurisdictional requirements in Colorado.
• Ability to travel as required by job demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead and generate production of contract documents and deliverables under the purview of the Principal Architect(s)
• Assist with bidding and contractor solicitation
• Monitor and maintain project budgets and schedules
• Provide Construction Administration services
• Manage working on multiple projects at one time
• Assist with proposals and contract execution with clients
• Lead and manage design projects from pre-design through project life cycle
• Lead and manage hybrid project teams including subconsultant
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and public entities to meet timelines, budget and design intent.
• Serve as Architect of Record
