Job summary

Stratus is seeking a Project Architect in the Denver area to oversee the design and development of architectural projects. You will lead the preparation of construction documents, coordinate with consultants and internal teams, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.

The role requires 7–10 years of experience in architecture and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Hybrid work is supported, with opportunities across Civic, Commercial, and Industrial sectors and a focus on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in architecture.
• Experience managing mid-sized projects across sectors (industrial or commercial).
• Proficiency in architectural software for design and construction documents (AutoCAD, Revit).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of design solutions from concept through design development.
• Prepare detailed construction documents with floor plans, elevations, sections, specs.
• Coordinate the work of consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, budgets and resources.
• Conduct on-site inspections to ensure plans are followed and quality standards met.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams to align goals.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff on architectural processes.
• Ensure documentation and regulatory compliance (permits, zoning,LEED/WELL).
