Job summary

Summit Design and Engineering Services is seeking a Colorado-licensed Architect to lead design projects from pre-design through project life cycle. The role includes producing contract documents, coordinating with clients and consultants, managing budgets and schedules, and serving as Architect of Record.

The position supports hybrid teams—remote, WFH, and in-office—and requires collaboration across disciplines to meet timelines and design intent in the Colorado market.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Registered Architect in Colorado
• Highly proficient in REVIT and AutoCAD
• Understanding of drawing conventions, file organization, external references, and technical accuracy
• Knowledge of architectural design, detailing, building materials, building codes, construction techniques, and costs in Colorado
• Knowledge of general architectural practice including programming, site planning, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering
• Familiar with permit review process and jurisdictional requirements in Colorado
• Ability to travel as required by job demands
