Job summary

HLW, a global architecture and design firm, seeks an experienced Project Architect in Florida to lead projects from concept through construction. This hybrid role requires strong design leadership, client management, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

You will mentor staff, oversee documentation, and collaborate with engineers, consultants, and clients to deliver design excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture and active licensure as a US architect preferred.
• US Registered Architect or actively pursuing licensure is required.
• LEED accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring design quality, schedule adherence, and budget control.
• Develop project scopes, staffing plans, schedules, and fee proposals in coordination with leadership.
• Serve as the primary client contact, managing expectations, communications, and contracts.
• Strengthen and maintain long-term client relationships, supporting business development and repeat opportunities.
• Support RFP and proposal efforts through strategic input and project-specific expertise.
