Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Architect with broad architectural experience and a strong background in large-scale Federal and Cultural projects in the Washington, DC metro area. U.S.

citizenship is required for this federal-design build role. You will lead from design development through project completion, promoting design excellence, and leveraging advanced technical skills to support a multi-disciplinary team aligned with firm standards.

Qualifications

• Senior Project Architect with broad architectural experience and knowledge.
• Strong background in large-scale Federal and Cultural projects in the DC metro area.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams for design, technical execution, and coordination from concept to completion.
• Coordinate budgets, schedules, and work plans with Designers and Project Managers.
• Direct and coordinate internal and external teams to ensure design intent and compliance.
• Lead coordination meetings with clients, contractors, and owners.
• Apply codes, regulations, and permit documentation.
• Support BIM-based design and documentation across phases.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and QA/QC.
