Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team invites you to join as a Project Architect/Project Designer in our Civic, Transit, and Federal practice in Washington, DC. You will lead design efforts on complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and act as a primary client contact from concept through construction.

You will mentor junior staff, apply codes and building envelope knowledge, and utilize BIM tools to develop models and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Architecture or equivalent.
• Licensed architect preferred (US).
• Experience leading design on complex civic/transit/federal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts on complex projects from concept through construction.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and BIM models.
• Act as primary client contact and mentor junior staff.
