Job summary

Ramboll's New York office is seeking a Project Architect with deep design documentation experience, including enclosure detailing, consultant coordination, and execution. This role targets licensed architects with 10+ years of experience who demonstrate advanced technical proficiency and strong leadership.

You will oversee design production, mentor the team, coordinate consultants, and lead façade modeling and documentation across phases, ensuring code compliance and sustainable design.

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect with 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's or Master’s in Architecture from NAAB-accredited school.
• Strong technical proficiency in complex façade documentation.
• Experience mentoring junior staff in façade modeling and detailing.
• Proven ability to coordinate consultants and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in English and available to work full-time in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and document implementation to meet project goals and compliance.
• Develop compliant design solutions aligned with project requirements.
• Manage sheet sets to ensure comprehensive documentation.
• Generate DD/CD-level façade details and models.
• Provide code leadership across the project.
• BIM point person for design team and coordinate BIM standards.
• Lead consultant coordination and meetings.
• Mentor team in façade modeling and detailing.
• Sustainability ambassador coordinating day-to-day design goals.
• Manage open actions list with consultant coordination.
