Job summary

MW-Skins in NYC is seeking a Senior Facade Designer / Facade Architect to join our design-forward envelope team. You will lead complex facade projects, integrating architectural theory with engineering practice across conceptual design to construction administration.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of facade design experience, strong AutoCAD, Rhino and Revit skills, and the ability to manage junior designers while coordinating with clients and contractors in a fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facade design experience.
• Strong technical understanding of building envelopes and enclosure systems.
• Excellent CAD/CAM skills and ability to draft technical facade details.

Responsibilities

• Draft technical façade details with clarity and precision.
• Prepare building envelope specifications and related documents.
• Assist in construction administration, respond to RFIs and organize submittal logs.
• Lead and mentor junior facade designers in day‑to‑day work.
• Balance technical and aesthetic priorities across multiple projects.
