Actalent in Boston, MA is seeking a Project Architect to lead design development, technical coordination, and robust construction documentation across project phases. You will collaborate with principals, project managers, designers, and consultants to ensure design intent and building systems are accurately documented.

The role requires a professional degree in architecture, 5–10+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, and MS Office, and a collaborative, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Professional degree in architecture or preservation.
• 5–10+ years of architectural experience with design and technical development.
• Strong design sense and understanding of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design concepts, technical solutions, and detailed project documentation.
• Collaborate with principals, PMs, designers, and staff across all phases.
• Produce drawings, details, and models supporting design intent with accuracy.
• Coordinate with consultants to integrate structural, MEP, and specialty systems.
• Support quality control through documentation and adherence to standards.
• Conduct site visits for field measurements and existing conditions.
• Assist with project research on codes, materials, and precedents.
• Participate in client meetings to communicate design ideas and progress.
• Travel as needed for site reviews, documentation, and client engagement.
