Job summary

STV is seeking multiple Project Architects to join our Buildings practice in Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA. The role leads design and technical development, coordinating with consultants and engineers to deliver coordinated construction documents across institutional, transportation, civic, higher education, healthcare, and justice sectors.

The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities, and experience guiding project teams through all

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
Licensed architect in California or eligible for licensure.
Demonstrated strength of technical knowledge & design sensibility.
Experience leading project teams through all phases of development.

Responsibilities

Lead design and technical development of projects.
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and staff to ensure timely completion.
Develop design layouts, drawings, and specifications for construction documents.
Lead scheduling, scope definition, budgeting, staffing, and construction administration.
Guide junior staff and interns to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Prepare studies, reports, and technical drawings for client presentations.
