Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking multiple Project Architects for its Buildings practice in Los Angeles, CA and San Francisco, CA.

You will lead design and technical development, coordinate with consultants, and oversee construction documents across institutional, transportation, civic, higher education, healthcare, and justice sectors. The ideal candidate is a licensed architect with 10+ years of experience, strong technical expertise, and proven leadership guiding project teams through all phases of

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
California licensure is required.
Demonstrated knowledge of 3D modeling & BIM documentation tools including Revit/Rhino and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of building codes, zoning, materials, and construction techniques.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of one or more projects.
Develop design within program, budget, environmental and legal requirements.
Coordinate with consultants and internal team to ensure timely completion.
Prepare design layouts and specifications; support throughout all stages.
Lead scheduling, scope definition, budgeting, staffing, and construction administration.
Apply architectural knowledge; prepare studies, reports, drawings; present to clients.
Supervise internal team of architects and engineers through the design process.
Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and design intent.
Participate in site visits and client presentations; write project narratives and specs.
