ERO Architects in San Antonio, TX is seeking an experienced Project Architect/Architectural Project Manager to join our growing team. This role blends project management, design, and construction documentation while coordinating consultants and construction administration.

The ideal candidate will handle programming through closeout, mentor junior staff, and travel regionally to support projects in South and Central Texas. A versatile professional with a full lifecycle understanding is preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional architectural experience required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Texas architectural registration preferred, but not required for strong candidates.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit with ACC/BIM 360 for collaboration and construction administration workflows.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from programming through closeout.
• Strong documentation and consultant coordination background.
• Experience in construction administration and field coordination.
• Ability to read, develop, review construction documents, and coordinate details.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural projects from programming and design through construction administration and closeout.
• Remain actively involved in production, documentation, detailing, and coordination as needed.
• Develop and coordinate construction documents with internal teams and consultants.
• Provide quality control and technical review of drawings, specs, and deliverables.
• Lead or support client meetings, design presentations, and coordination meetings.
• Manage schedules, deliverables, budgets, and internal resources.
• Provide construction administration services including RFIs, submittals, and site observations.
• Identify and resolve technical and coordination issues throughout design and build.
• Mentor younger staff and collaborate with multiple offices/teams.
• Travel periodically within South and Central Texas for project support.
