Job summary

O'Connell Robertson in San Antonio is seeking a Project Architect (Education) to lead project teams, produce construction documents, and drive design concepts for Education facilities in our Texas practice.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure designs meet program goals, codes, and constructibility, while advancing a strong education-focused design ethos.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with professional licensure or eligibility.
• Experience with education-focused architectural projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural principles, codes, and detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver timely, high-quality drawings and specifications for education projects.
• Spearhead progressive design concepts through all design phases.
• Provide innovative ideas for education amenities to differentiate projects.
• Deliver compelling presentations that advance technical and design expertise and client relationships.
• Mentor staff and develop career roadmaps for team members.
• Stay ahead of architectural trends, innovations, and tools.
