Job summary

Ghafari Associates is seeking an Architect (Arch if not licensed) to assist in design development, lead in producing technical drawings and specifications, and coordinate related disciplines on projects of moderate size.

The role involves in-house construction administration, mentorship of staff, and ensuring quality control across the project team. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 with hybrid/in‑office work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB AXP completion preferred.
• Licensing exams in progress preferred.
• LEED Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run small to moderate scale projects with some complexity.
• Establish factual design parameters (code, site restrictions, budget, schedule).
• Lead execution of tasks and project work plan.
• Oversee daily activities and ensure quality of Construction Documents.
• Mentor less experienced staff and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Coordinate disciplines and manage information exchange among team members.
