The candidate should have a professional architecture degree (NAAB-accredited), 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Ability to provide business development for firm within practice expertise area.
• 10+ years combined experience as a design professional and/or architect.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Excellent time management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.
• Master's Degree of Architecture.
• Licensed architect registration.
• Experience with Newforma Project Center and/or Newforma Project Analyzer.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Bluebeam PDF Revu.
• Certifications indicating expertise (construction administration, interior design, LEED, etc.).
• Experience writing and editing specifications.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in marketing and business development processes; create and monitor plans.
• Prepare strategic plans for practice success and establish a vision for the market.
• Represent Firm at practice market’s professional and trade organizations.
• Ensure practice organization aligns with the firm’s strategic plans.
• Foster learning, collaboration, innovation, and communication.
• Review and advocate for team members’ professional development plans.
• Take responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and materials; manage projects.
• Prepare design/presentation materials, estimate fees, determine scope.
• Conduct code research and review with agencies for approval.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, structural, zoning, and aesthetics.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs; coordinate project efforts.
• Manage client budgets, schedules, programs, communications, and documentation.
• Supervise site observations and report conditions and progress.
• Make major design decisions on spatial and detailing aspects.
• Document project progression through correspondence and approvals.
