Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith seeks a Project Manager for our Spartanburg studio to lead complex architectural projects from design through construction, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a professional architecture degree (NAAB-accredited) with 10+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite, and a strong grasp of building codes and construction processes.

Qualifications

Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
10+ years combined experience as a design professional and/or architect.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
Excellent time management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple small to large complex projects from design through construction.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients to ensure project goals.
Prepare design and proposal materials, estimate fees, determine scope of work.
Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
Supervise site observations and document construction progress.
Control budgets, schedules, and project communications.
