Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith seeks a Project Manager for our Spartanburg studio to lead complex architectural projects from design through construction, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a professional architecture degree (NAAB-accredited) with 10+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite, and a strong grasp of building codes and construction processes.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• 10+ years combined experience as a design professional and/or architect.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.
• Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.
• Excellent time management, organizational and written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small to large complex projects from design through construction.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients to ensure project goals.
• Prepare design and proposal materials, estimate fees, determine scope of work.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.
• Supervise site observations and document construction progress.
• Control budgets, schedules, and project communications.
