Job summary

Gensler in Seattle seeks a seasoned Project Architect to lead design efforts and coordinate the construction administration phase. You will translate sketches into 3D models and construction drawings while mentoring the team and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors.

You will oversee design quality, technical documentation, and project communications, ensuring sustainable practices across multiple projects in critical facilities, aviation, and corporate spaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
• Licensure required.
• 10+ years of experience in architectural design.
• Experience with Revit and Rhino.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of design.
• Collaborate with design team, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage project team and coordination of consultants.
• Oversee client follow-up, calendars, deadlines, and meetings.
• Develop innovative design strategies and brand concepts.
• Contribute to proposals, presentations and project communications.
• Produce BIM models and construction drawings.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Maintain project manuals and specifications.
• Support office culture and initiatives.
