Job summary

NBBJ Seattle is seeking an experienced Interiors Project Architect to strengthen our Seattle interiors practice, focusing on corporate workplace accounts, repeat-client relationships, and projects from tenant improvements to campuses. You will lead design development, coordinate with clients and consultants, and mentor junior staff to uphold design intent and technical quality.

The role requires deep Revit/BIM fluency, strong documentation, coordination, and construction administration skills,

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in interiors or architectural field with corporate/workplace focus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related design.
• Architectural licensure preferred; candidates pursuing licensure considered.
• LEED/WELL or similar accreditation a plus.
• Advanced Revit/BIM capability required; familiarity with AutoCAD, Adobe CC, Bluebeam, MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in executing corporate interiors from early design through construction administration.
• Collaborate with clients to identify objectives and communicate technical implications.
• Set work priorities for design, documentation, scheduling, and budgeting with PMs and design leaders.
• Translate design concepts into workable construction systems maintaining design intent and code compliance.
• Develop contract documents, drawings, specifications, and quality-control reviews.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and internal teams for integrated delivery.
• Lead and mentor team members on documentation standards, Revit workflows, detailing, and coordination.
• Participate in construction administration, reviewing RFIs/submittals and site observations.
