Job summary

Perkins & Will's Seattle studio is seeking a Senior Project Architect with 10–15+ years of experience to lead design efforts and manage complex projects from concept through construction. The role emphasizes collaboration across architecture, interior design, and landscape disciplines, with an expectation to mentor staff and uphold strict quality standards.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in architecture, LEED GA within 6 months, and professional accreditation in Living Design within 1 year.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline.
LEED GA within 6 months of hire.
Professional accreditation in Living Design (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, etc.) within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

Lead all design phases with proficiency and adhere to firm standards.
Respond to technical implications, design decisions, and project financial goals.
Lead project documentation and production of drawings/specifications.
Oversee QA reviews for compliance with standards and design intent.
Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants.
Communicate with clients on technical matters.
Oversee regulatory reviews and coordination with authorities.
Ensure effective construction administration and team performance.
Mentor staff and provide oversight of assignments.
