Job summary

Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Analyst 3 in Newport News to support the program office with data-driven insights, reporting, and project analysis.

The role focuses on gathering, validating, and consolidating information from cross-functional teams to support recurring reports and briefings. The analyst will help develop, enhance, and maintain reporting criteria and metrics to guide program performance and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
• Candidate must have experience working within SharePoint environments.
• Candidate must have the ability to develop, track, and analyze metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Candidate must have strong familiarity with document control processes and best practices.
• Candidate must have experience working in large cross functional programs and working with customer and subcontractors.
• Candidate must have experience creating, maintaining, and reporting on program or project performance metrics.
• Candidate must have strong ability to communicate within a cross functional and poses good collaboration skills especially with geographically distributed personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support the current projects by tracking relevant data and metrics, developing and updating reports, providing administrative and document related support.
• Coordinating and collaborating with project member and others within the organization to complete their work.
• Prepare and monitor material requisitions and schedules (including logistics).
• Coordinate across the project team and other internal stakeholders as well as with subcontractors as needed.
• Develop, propose, and implement solutions for material or logistics related issues in order to maintain program and project goals.
