Belcan is seeking a Senior Projects Analyst to support maintenance and project activities, leveraging SAP to ensure reliable, cost-effective pipeline and terminal operations. The role involves creating requisitions, managing change orders, and coordinating with procurement and vendor stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of SAP maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and strong skills in Microsoft Office and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create requisitions for materials and services for Midstream Projects.
• Support and manage change order requests; verify documentation and updated POs.
• Assist with PO and invoice issues; coordinate with vendor and Accounts Payable to resolve issues.
• Request position IDs for contract Project Leads for ALM setup.
• Request SAP Access and ALM roles for new Project employees and contractors.
• Provide project data and system information support to Project Leads.
• Create and release networks and labor/expense activities on new Capital Projects; update activity coding.
• Coordinate with Procurement Partners for vendor additions/changes.
• Ensure requisitions are converted to POs and vendors confirm receipt.
• Verify costs are settled correctly and policies followed.
• Review project documentation for accuracy and validity.
• Support SAP issue resolution and training as SME.
• Provide SAP training for requisitioning and support to Midstream Projects.
• Support Process Reliability Analysts in using Project Builder for requisitions.
• Create/manage work orders for contingent labor and update project allocations.

The Senior Projects Analyst supports maintenance and project activities while managing the use of SAP to ensure reliable and cost-effective Pipeline and Terminal operations. Responsibilities may include:

• Create all requisitions for materials and services for Midstream Projects.
• Support and manage change order requests; communicate with Project Leads and buyers to verify proper documentation is included and POs are updated correctly.
• Support Project Leads with purchase order and invoice issues, communicating with vendor and Accounts Payable to identify cause of issue and determine proper resolution.
• Request position IDs for contract Project Leads to enable ALM setup with Project Manager roles.
• Request SAP Access and ALM roles for all new Project employees and contractors.
• Provide support to Project Leads on researching project data and system information.
• Create and release networks and labor/expense activities on new Capital Projects. Verify and/or update activity coding on existing labor networks.
• Coordinate with Procurement Business Partners and Category Management when vendor additions and/or changes are needed.
• Coordinate with procurement to verify that requisitions are quickly converted to purchase orders and confirming with vendors purchase order receipt.
• Ensure costs are settled correctly, scope and instructions are fit for purpose and applicable policies and procedures are referenced.
• Review and monitor Project documentation to verify accuracy and validity.
• Provide support to Project Leads and PCLs in determining cause and resolution of SAP system errors.
• Serve as the Midstream Projects SAP SME, AM/P SuperUser and EPPM Trainer.
• Conduct SAP training for Project Builder requisitioning and serve as the primary contact for Midstream Projects SAP support.
• Provide training and support to Process Reliability Analysts in utilizing Project Builder for requisitioning.
• Create and manage work orders for Midstream Projects contingent labor and to ensure the project time/cost allocations are updated regularly to reflect proper project allocations.

Qualifications

Basic/Required:

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand related drawings and technical documents
• 3 or more years of experience in maintenance via SAP or similar systems

Preferred:

• Associate's degree or higher
• 5 or more years of experience in maintenance via SAP or similar systems
• Experience in SAP or similar Maintenance Management System
• Experience supporting multiple projects
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pipeline and terminal equipment
