Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an Experienced Professional, Project Accounting to provide financial and accounting support to project managers and teams across complex projects. Responsibilities include creating project budgets, conducting margin analysis, and generating Oracle-based funding and reporting.

The role emphasizes coordinating with Billing and Project Managers on pre-billing reviews, cost estimates, and invoicing, while upholding high standards of financial stewardship and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or closely-related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant post-education experience in accounting and project contracts.
• Experience with project accounting principles and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate P&L for projects.
• Create and validate project budgets, perform variance analysis, and support invoicing.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Billing to ensure timely, accurate pre-billing and cost estimates.
• Maintain project data in Oracle and generate robust project accounting reports.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for underperforming projects.
