WSP is seeking an Experienced Professional, Project Accounting in the United States. The role supports project managers and teams with budgets, cost controls, and reporting, requiring a clearance and familiarity with Oracle.

The ideal candidate will develop project work breakdown structures, monitor budgets, perform margin analysis, and collaborate with Billing and Project Managers on pre-billing reviews and invoicing. This role emphasizes financial stewardship and quality in client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of post-education accounting experience.
• Knowledge of project accounting principles and practices.
• Analytical with independent judgment in financial matters.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders on contract/project requirements.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage collection and allocation of project costs and revenue, ensuring accurate P&L.
• Create and maintain project budgets in Oracle.
• Analyze margins and generate variance reports for management.
• Support pre-billing reviews and invoicing processes with Project Managers.
• Generate project financial reports and highlight issues for leadership.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
