Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking a senior accountant with strong project accounting experience and Microsoft Business Central expertise to manage the month-end close and financial analysis for HVAC projects. The role supports operations with BC functionality and reports to the Midwest Controller in Chicago.

You will oversee project costs, revenues and profitability, coordinate warranty and inventory tasks with sales and warehouse teams, and ensure accurate financial reporting while collaborating

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Lead the month-end close process with journal entries and reconciliations.
Oversee project accounting using Business Central for costs, revenues, and profitability.
Process customer and vendor invoices, and support cash forecasting.
Coordinate warranty and inventory activities with sales and warehouse teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
