Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support our Security Division in a hybrid capacity (2–3 days in office). The role emphasizes strong accounting, process discipline and cross-functional collaboration to manage project finances.

You will reconcile accounts, forecast project revenues and costs, prepare monthly closes and assist with audits. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in accounting, ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with NetSuite/Oracle ERP system.
• Experience with contract revenue recognition and WIP accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in general ledgers, journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Team player with collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and investigate discrepancies.
• Capture, analyze, forecast revenues, costs, assets and liabilities by project.
• Prepare project monthly, quarterly and annual deliverables.
• Review monthly project statements with teams for variances.
• Prepare monthly journal entries for project revenues and expenses.
• Assist with monthly management reports and Flash reporting.
• Support accounts payable to classify costs by project.
• Assist with annual audits with project data reports.
