Job summary

Direct Air Systems in Ohio is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements for Ohio operations. You'll lead month-end close, manage project accounting, and support daily transactions and cash flow.

The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 3+ years of direct accounting experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Excel. On-site position with direct reporting to the Midwest Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of direct accounting experience with project accounting.
• Proficiency with MS Business Central or similar ERP and advanced Excel.
• Strong analytical, communicational, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare, and process daily invoices and cash receipts, including sales tax, and help with weekly cash forecast.
• Lead month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee project accounting, tracking costs, revenues, and profitability with sales team collaboration.
• Support the ERP system conversion to Microsoft Business Central.
