Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage project accounting and forecasting across multiple mid-sized or large projects. The role involves interaction with project management, clients, and subcontractors, with office-based work and occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 6–10 years of experience or equivalent
• Experience with construction project accounting and forecasting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage contracts, amendments, insurance, bonds, SOV, files and co-policies.
• Review requisitions and lien waivers for timeliness and accuracy.
• Set up and format project forecasts for internal and client reporting.
• Lead monthly forecast meetings and maintain ETCs for labor/expenses.
• Evaluate changes for reporting consistency and risk mitigation.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payables and project closeout processes.
