Job summary

Tews Company Staffing is seeking a Senior Accountant to support billing, job costing, subcontract administration, financial reporting, and accounting operations across multiple business units. The role requires collaboration with Project Managers and accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include preparing monthly project billings, reviewing project costs, managing subcontractor documentation, and assisting with tax filings and close processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel skills required.
• ERP experience (SAP or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly project billings and review project costs.
• Manage subcontractor documentation, pay requests, insurance, and bonding.
• Support month-end close, job costing, inventory, and financial reporting.
• Prepare sales/use tax filings and journal entries.
• Assist with collections, liens, releases, budgets, and forecasts.
• Support and/or supervise Accounts Payable activities.
• Partner with Project Managers and accounting leadership for accurate reporting.
