Job summary

ITAC Solutions seeks a Project Accountant to manage the financials of architecture/engineering projects from setup through closeout, collaborating with project managers and leadership to ensure accurate billing and transparent cost reporting.

You will establish billing schedules, process client invoices, review project costs, and assist with month-end close, with growth opportunities within a respected organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of job cost accounting, project billing processes, and percentage of completion accounting.
• 3+ years of project accounting in architecture, engineering, or construction industries.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Deltek.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain billing schedules in coordination with project managers.
• Prepare and submit accurate client invoices on time.
• Review and allocate consultant, engineering, and vendor invoices to projects.
• Monitor job costs and ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Process client payments and maintain financial records.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain data integrity.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
