Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to capture, analyze and report manufacturing operating costs, including labor, materials, and margins. You’ll work with plant operations, supply chain and finance leadership to improve cost visibility and drive improvements across projects.

The role involves ownership of cost accounting records, owner billings and ERP project initiatives, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements within a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 5+ years accounting experience in construction or related industry.
• Strong ERP and manufacturing OS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement financial reporting for manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and reconcile inventory including raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
• Prepare owner billing and track payment status per contract terms.
• Provide analytics on project status and performance.
• Support month-end close and project audits.
