The Bolton Group, a growing employee-owned construction firm, seeks a Senior Project Accountant to manage project financial management and accounting operations. You will work closely with project management and internal accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, monitor performance, and maintain strong financial controls.

Responsibilities include job costing, contract administration, billing, variance analysis, and month-end close support.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant accounting experience.
• Construction project accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of job costing, contract billing, and project financial reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage project accounting activities, including job costing, contract administration, and project billing.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, commitments, and financial performance.
• Review subcontractor invoices and ensure appropriate documentation and compliance.
• Analyze project financial results, identify variances, and communicate potential risks.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project financial reports and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers and internal stakeholders to support financial planning and project execution.
• Assist with month-end close activities and project-related account reconciliations.
• Maintain compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
